To split up the 7-hour drive to San Francisco from Los Angeles, Michelle and I booked a night at the Cass House. Which served as a convenient halfway point and located in a resort-esque, small beach town of Cayucos. Also, 30 minutes away from the Hearst Castle.

Contemporary simplicity and historic charm is the boutique hotel that is Hotel G. As the incarnation of the 1909 Fielding Hotel; the reinvented Hotel G is the very definition of old meets new. With a mixture of vintage furniture, quirky art, luxurious (Matteo linens), and modern amenities, this home away from home is an interesting experience.
