While work has dominated my recent travels, The Windy City was a spontaneous escape from Cali’s humid weather. My dear friend, Michelle, planned a girl’s trip months in advance and I, Sharon Litz, smuggled my way in on a whim. Packed and prepped for winter layering - round two!
Why of course: “Secrets of Sin City” is about Las Vegas! Today on the blog, I’ll be sharing my tips and tricks on how to navigate The City of Sin. Vegas is a city I frequent often, so naturally, I picked up a couple of helpful tips to help you plan your trip. I also went to CES 2017 early January and wanted to share a couple of photos :)
The call of wanderlust is irresistible to me, whether a faraway destination or a neighboring state, I almost always surrender. Spontaneity and travel seem to be a package deal these days- like past trips, Seattle was an unexpected one. But I am so grateful and happy that I got the opportunity to squeeze in Seattle before the year’s demise.
I’ve loved many cities, but Seattle is one of the few I can almost envision living in. Weekly orca watching on the Puget Sound, Sunday strolls through Pike Place Market, Cafe crawls through Capitol Hill, it all sounds wondrous to me. There’s just something about Seattle that I find incredibly intriguing. I also had a phenomenal time hanging out with two bright, creative and talented individuals: Michelle and Jillian.
A visit to The Happiest Place On Earth was long overdue. And I’m talking five years of dwindling “all talk” plans that never made it to the light of day. But on a typical Monday, an unexpected five-minute phone call sets in stone a trip that five years of talk and unambiguous attempts could not. Monday, you did good, but Tuesday was about to get even better. Dumping all previous plans because Disneyland, make way for thee!
