Thoughts on Goals & Corn
As I was sorting out my hot mess of a desktop, I realized this outfit never made it to my blog. It’s probably one of my favorite outfits of 2016 so how dare I?!? It’s ok self, better late than never. I mean only like ten months late…Which brings me to my next point, which is also an intro to one of my new year's resolutions. And that is, drummer roll please: To not wait one thousand years before blogging an outfit and to blog at least three times a month. Hold on; that's two goals ;)
It's Summer Somewhere...
Some of my favorite things to wear include: drum roll please…flow-y maxi dresses with high slits. I find that when I go through: “ I don’t know what to wear moments”, I tend to gravitate towards maxi dresses because they are comfortable and easy to throw on. I can also manipulate how dressy or casual I want to look by how I accessorize.
Midi Dress Gone Mini
I have never been a red dress type gal. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever been photographed wearing red. However, when I saw this eShakti floral dress, I had to take a risk. And I’m glad I did, because OMG, SO CUTE! Sorry for yelling but yeah..
The best part about this dress was that I got to customize it. In fact, everything on eShakti.com is customizable. What a cool way to shop for clothes! The dress pictured above was originally a v-neck and knee length dress which I customized to be a deep v-neck and mini skirt. I had to go for the v-neck because of my big head (it’s more flattering lol). Can I just get everything in “deep v-neck” from now on??
Cascade Ruffles
Hi, guys what are some of your favorite online clothing shops? Dezzal.com reached out to me for a collaboration recently and looking through their site, I was blown away by their unique clothing options. They have an array of beautifully designed dresses that I have never seen anywhere else.
Gray, Grey, Grayy!
Happy Thanksgiving week everyone! This will probably be my only post before Thanksgiving, so I wanted to take this time to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! What are you guys thankful for? I’m thankful for everything, as corny as it sounds. Well, with the exception of the two traffic and parking tickets I have waiting in my name. It’s like I’m looking extra sexy to tickets these days.
Tweed on Diamond
Whew, it’s finally getting cold in LA, baby! It is almost torturous getting up each morning. I set a hundred alarm on my phone, and and I’ll end up sleeping through half of them. I just want to bury myself in my warm blanket and hibernate like an animal...
If you could invest in one thing from Burberry and one thing only, there are no doubts that it would be their classic heritage trench coat. The one pictured above is the: Kensington Mid-Length Heritage Trench Coat in Stone.
Every high-end brand has a specialty item that they are known for, a particular style, quality, or design aimed to withstand the test of time. Chanel is their iconic ladylike tweed jackets and their classic quilted flap bag. And Burberry, drum roll please-their classic trench coats.
