I am now a proud early riser, and I couldn’t be happier. My productivity level has increased, and I am more energized than when I slept in. I can’t imagine ever going back to snoozing and sleeping in on a daily basis. And now I desperately need to fix my sleeping schedule. It seems like my brain operates like a nocturnal animal. As soon as 10 pm hits, no matter how tired I was throughout the day, my mind suddenly becomes as alert as a dog on mail day. Any tips are welcomed!
Hints of Fall
Snapped At: Melrose Blvd
Those of you that live in Los Angeles know how insanely hot it is right now! Someone needs to invent a portable and invisible air conditioning bubble that I can bring with me everywhere I go. Like something similar to Harry Potter's clock of invisibility, but with a cooling charm built-in.
Snapped At: Brentwood, CA
There photos were actually taken awhile back, but I did not have the time to post them until now. It was far more chilly in Cali then, which is why I was wearing a thick cardigan over my shoulders. I was out in Brentwood for the day and this outfit was my "exploring the city" look.
Snapped at: Fashion For Breakfast-Wildfox Couture
I attended a Fashion for Breakfast event a couple Thursdays ago with fellow blogger Alisha (of Saffrononrose). Fashion for Breakfast is a really awesome bi-weekly event hosted by different fashion brands. Wildfox Couture happens to be the host that week, and I had the pleasure of meeting the amazing co-founder of WILDFOX, Kimberly Gordon.
Snapped at: DTLA
I spent the day out in DTLA with a fellow blogger – the lovely and awesome Saffrononrose! We started our day eating at L.A Chapter, and then headed over to explore the root top at the Ace Hotel.
Snapped at: Rodeo Drive
I attended Silpada design's fall accessories launch and Lea Journo Salon's Summer 15' Style Night event in this outfit. I originally planned on switching to something different in-between the two events, but laziness got the best of me. And I love this outfit so it all worked out ;)!
I'm starting the transition to fall with a darker color palette.
Actually, who am I kidding? I am always dressed in a dark palette. But pleather/leather is seriously sooo suitable for the cooler seasons. Am I right?!
