I am now a proud early riser, and I couldn’t be happier. My productivity level has increased, and I am more energized than when I slept in. I can’t imagine ever going back to snoozing and sleeping in on a daily basis. And now I desperately need to fix my sleeping schedule. It seems like my brain operates like a nocturnal animal. As soon as 10 pm hits, no matter how tired I was throughout the day, my mind suddenly becomes as alert as a dog on mail day. Any tips are welcomed!

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of photographing my gorgeous bestie, Kat. I took her to one of my favorite locations to shoot: Melrose Place. And she’s never been to Alfred’s Coffee, so we’re really killing two birds with one stone here :)
Melrose Place is a far quieter and less crowded location in contrast to the typical bustling LA. It’s also really, really cute. Melrose Place is a small strip of high-end shops but filled with prettiness at every corner. And during the golden hour (approx. 5-6pm) the photos turn out extra crisp and beautiful. Today on the blog, I am not only sharing the result of our Melrose Place shoot but a list of my favorite places to shoot in LA.
